JDA Chimera

Here is my stealth black suri female. I had a strong feeling that she would produce black for us -- and gray, for that matter -- when I saw her and made an offer before she was three months old. The interesting thing about a lighter offspring from two dark parents is that those offspring tend to produce the dark color, and Chimera has done that for us. Chimera produced our very first true black suri here, a beautiful male by the name of Kohl of Hidden Hill, who sold as a breeding male. Kohl is sired by our Adonis of PVA, a true black lookalike son of the great Kobe of PVA. We bred Chimera back to Adonis and Chimera produced a fabulous true black suri female we have named Camanchaca. Chaca is also possessed of a dazzling fleece as is her full brother with intense, tight locking to the skin. We have left Chimera open for a few years, but she can be bred to the buyer's choice of Adonis of PVA, any of our solid gray full Peruvian suri males (HHF Windtalker or True Aim of Hidden Hill) or even our light fawn full Accoyo male, Accoyo Gold Rush.

We are opting to keep Camanchaca, and sell her full Peruvian medium fawn dam, as much as we love what she has done for our program.
