Aviva is simply a beautiful, full Peruvian suri alpaca with top show-ring credentials and proven ability to produce show-quality colored offspring. As a juvenile, she took the Light Suri Female Color Champion honors at North American Alpaca Show in 2003. Aviva has dark toenails and dark pigmentation around her eyes and muzzle -- I am sure it helps a bit, too, that her grandsire was dark rose gray 4P Magnifico (now deceased). We own her dam, Tori, and we like the idea that we have this dynamic duo mother/daughter team of great foundation females! Aviva is now a foundation female for us, and we will be happy to hang onto her but can at this time entertain offers. Her first cria, sired by the well-known NGG Caezar, is Topkapi, who is now owned by Patti and Alan Anderson of Wild Rose Suris. Bred to our Reserve Champion solid rose gray Gunsmoke son, Winchester Steel, Aviva produced a phenomenal appaloosa female cria last year with a base coat of SOLID LIGHT SILVER GRAY, . We knew Aviva had color in her lineage that, properly bred, would see the light of day, and we are thrilled with Western Sunrise, her fall 2005 cria. Of course, Aviva was bred right back to Winchester. In fall 2006, she produced a solid dark silver gray male with a dark face -- same stunning luster, same pizzaz as his lovely sister. We call him The Rifleman. HE WILL SELL AT HIS DAM'S SIDE!!!! We bred Aviva to Adonis of PVA on March 23rd, at the height of receptivity, and Aviva is spitting off to Adonis weekly since that one breeding. Adonis is our award-winning look-alike son of the great Kobe of PVA! She was ultrasounded on May 4th and she is pregnant!
