Oh, do we miss Caligula's Casanova. I know breeders that don't want white males that loved him. What Casanova did for our program was simply amazing. All but one of our white champions have been sired by him and the one that wasn't happens to be a granddaughter. This is the mark of a truly prepotent sire, even though Casanova did not have as many offspring as I would have liked to have seen from him.

Both Ian Watt and Norm Evans have performed skin biopsies on Status Symbol, and his secondary to primary follicle ratio is 13.4:1 (Watt's) and 13.25:1 (Evans'). Check out his 2011 histogram, as it is excellent for an eleven year old male. I love Status' approach to his work. All I have to do is show up at his pen area with a halter in hand, and he starts his engine as if competing at LeMans! Thus far, as promised by his prior owner, he is settling females in a single breeding here. We are honored to have Status Symbol here, and proudly co-own him with our friends at Andes Dandies, LLC. We thank Tana Shaw for letting this beautiful male leave the grounds of "TanaLand. Rest assured, he is loved and adored here. Status has been our choice to which to breed many of our treasured banner-winning daughters of our late Caligula's Casanova. Brillanta is still my favorite example of a Casanova daughter, and she comes by her gorgeous conformation, proportion and balance through a color champion dam as well. This female is one that will catch your eye in our sea of females. She took Reserve Champion White Female as a juvenile at the Green Mountain Alpaca Show in late 2007, and the competition there was incredible, so I probably do not have to mention how elite her fleece actually is, do I? We have a huge price tag on Brillanta for a reason. She is a totally expected outcome from a pairing of our simply amazing sire, Caligula's Casanova, and one of our very top elite white females, Peruvian Brietta. Brillanta has been bred to MFI Peruvian Seagram and produced a beautiful white male from that pairing. She then was bred to K2 and we are holding onto HHF Knight in White Satin as his sire's future replacement. Her latest cria is sired by our own Status Symbol SSMRT, and SHE is incredible! We promptly named her Hidden Hill Status' Supermodel! Like her dam and her still-gorgeous granddam, she was born with "IT!"
Following the death of her much-beloved sire this past year, we have decided to keep all our Casanova daughters and those sons that we still have to carry on his remarkable legacy. There is no doubt that Brillanta was one of his best, and sometimes I do a double-take when I see her in the foundation females' pens because I think her sire has come back to visit us, and perhaps he has.
Brillanta is currently open, but I want to 'beef her up a bit' and then we will take her to visit Accoyo America Typhoon. I still think that Caligula's Casanova's daughters bred to a stellar son of Nautilus will be the BOMB, particularly if, like me, you are very hot on the Accoyo/Alianza cross!!

We like to tailor financing to meet the needs of our clients, so we do not have set terms. Everyone has a different set of parameters, just as they do different goals, so a 'one size fits all' approach just makes no sense when talking financing terms.
