Snowmass Perfection's Winter Wind

I bought Winter Wind's dam, Snowmass Summer Breeze, at the 2004 Futurity Sale, and Winter Wind was 'on board' at the time. At that time, Snowmass Perfection was a reserve male available only to Snowmass. Well, Windy was born on a frigid January day, in the paddock outside our barn. By the time I found her, I was treating her for severe hypothermia. But she perked up by the time I got her temp up to 98.5 and she was a normal 101 by 8 pm that same evening. I was unwilling to part with Windy, so I offered to sell half-interest in her to good friends -- and they readily agreed.

It is difficult to cobble together a pedigree any more star-studded than Winter Wind's. She has produced beautifully for us as well. This year, she produced a Casanova daughter we named Wind in the Willows. We do believe Willow will be among our show-stoppers in our spring line-up, too!
