Well, Jour de Fete's farm call name is a far cry from her registered name. As we call her dam The Cupcake, she is Cannoli in the barns. All of The Cupcake's offspring carry foodie names for everyday purposes. The Cupcake is our oldest and first full Accoyo female, and we discovered that the best breeding in the barn for The Cupcake was none other than our own 5 time champion, 4 time judges' choice male, Hidden Hill Peruvian Dually. Thus, we have done this cross twice, and now we have TWO full sisters, Twinkie (aka Andria) and Cannoli (aka Jour de Fete).

Cannoli is a beautifully conformed female with a very nice high frequency fleece. She carries the signature headstyle of her sire, Dually, and his excellent coverage. Of course, The Cupcake has always been one of those magnificent, if larger framed, females that drew peoples' attention in a large field of females. Most of her daughters don't quite approach her "queen size" but tend to be larger framed animals.

Cannoli is now confirmed bred and due 9/7/16 with a cria sired by our own Accoyo America Typhoon, a banner-winning son of the great Nautilus. Just imagine the cria from this pairing and you know you simply have to have this female in your barn!!
